Many were fortunate to witness another stunning display as the Northern Lights returned last night, illuminating the prairie skies. Skygazers from across Canada and the northern United States once again had the chance to catch the Northern Lights from Thursday night into the early hours of Friday morning. It looks like there will be another opportunity to see this celestial show heading into the Thanksgiving long weekend. The next best chance will be tonight, with a 55% probability in the Moose Jaw area, according to AuroraReach.com. The optimal viewing time is expected to be between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., extending into the early morning hours of Saturday. There's also a slight chance of seeing them again on Saturday night.
