The excitement is building for the 48th Annual Estevan United Way Telethon. To help get things started, a special telethon kickoff event will be held at Murray GM on October 16 in collaboration with Black Beard’s Restaurant. Filmed in front of tables filled with raffle items donated by the community, Brad Pierson of Murray GM, Heidi Hesselink, executive director of the Estevan United Way, and Mark Pettitt, the 2024 Estevan United Way President, spoke with Daniel Espelien, SUN 102 morning show host, to share details on how the public can participate and support this year’s telethon efforts.
Mark your calendars for October 16 and head over to Murray GM from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the Estevan United Way Telethon kickoff event! Enjoy beef on a bun by donation, served by the Estevan Bruins. All money raised will go back into the community through the work of the United Way’s member agencies and community impact partners.
During the kickoff, you can also check out the tables filled with raffle items that will be auctioned off during the telethon on October 18 and 19 at the Estevan Legion. For a preview of the items, visit the United Way 2024 Bid Items Page.
