High school student mentors are reaching out to students in grades 1 to 6 to provide them with "Wings of Change."

All youth interested in receiving assistance with their Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) studies are welcome to join the drop-in sessions being offered in two different age groups at two separate locations.

The first of three sessions for grades 1 to 3 students is being held tomorrow--Sat. Oct. 12--at the Cochrane Public Library. Additional sessions are being held on Nov. 23 and Dec. 21.

Students in grades 4 to 6 are welcome to participate in sessions at BGC Cochrane on Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 14.

All sessions are being held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

High school students Alexis Larsen, Abigael Myers and Lily King decided to create the sessions to help prepare younger students for the future, and in some cases, catch up from the COVID lockdown.
