Ongoing sightings reported over the summer

In early August, DiscoverAirdrie reported that the RCMP confirmed receiving multiple reports of a naked man in Kananaskis Country. Authorities were first alerted to the sightings on July 16 and again on July 23.

According to police, the individual, described as a thin, pale, and bearded man, has frequently been seen near Mount Kidd RV Park. Witnesses reported that when spotted, he quickly retreats into the surrounding trees. Fortunately, no threatening behaviour has been associated with these sightings.

RCMP believe the man may be living in makeshift camps within the backcountry, and officers have located three such sites during their investigations.

Eyewitness accounts have also been shared on Reddit, further documenting the sightings.
