Airdrie’s courthouse closure has been extended indefinitely, meaning all court proceedings are now relocated to the Calgary Courts Centre.

All Airdrie court proceedings will be held at the Calgary Courts Centre during this period. If you have a scheduled trial, you must attend in person on the date specified for your trial.
Remote appearances through Webex are available for both legal counsel and self-represented individuals.
For those with docket court appearances who cannot attend either in person or remotely, it’s essential to contact the Calgary Regional Court Office on the scheduled date (before 10:00 a.m.). Duty counsel will be on hand at the Calgary Courts Centre to assist with criminal docket cases.
Traffic tickets can be addressed online. You must choose one of the following options before 1:00 p.m. on your first appearance date:
- Pay the ticket using a credit card
- Plead guilty and request additional time to pay
- Plead not guilty and schedule a trial date
- Dispute the ticket and seek a potential resolution
For mandatory court appearances related to Part 2 Tickets, individuals can attend in person at Courtroom 1407 at the Calgary Courts Centre or submit a not-guilty plea through the online portal or via the provided email.
The extension to the court being closed comes after it was announced in late August that the city's court would be closed for six weeks beginning on August 26.
