The numbers are in and we're set to go to the polls in the 2024 Saskatchewan general election.
There are 61 seats in the Saskatchewan Legislature and 31 are needed for a majority.
The Saskatchewan Party currently has 42 seats, the NDP 14, the Saskatchewan United Party has one with 3 independents and one vacant seat.
There are 7 political parties running candidates with the Saskatchewan Green Party the only one, other than the Saskatchewan Party and NDP, that is running enough candidates to form government. They have 58 candidates in the mix.
It's interesting to note, the Sask United Party has 29 candidates running, the Buffalo Party 16, followed by the PC Party with 12 and the Saskatchewan Progress Party with three.
There is a total of 243 candidates across our 61 constituencies and Elections Saskatchewan has printed about a million ballots.
There are but two people participating in tonight's leader's debate - Scott Moe and Carla Beck, of course.
And, perhaps, the most important number to talk about is "one". That's your vote on the ballot on Monday, October 28th.
