A year has passed since the Canadian Bible Society opened a location on Pembina Highway, and there is a big celebration on Saturday, October 19.
"We look forward to connecting with the Winnipeg community and celebrating this special day. Our goal for this event is to celebrate God and God's Word and to create lasting memories together," said Natalie Glavovic, Director of Sales at the Canadian Bible Society.
Glavovic says, "This is a community-driven, family-oriented event." Starting at 11 a.m. and running until 4 p.m., there will be live worship with worship leaders, along with face painting and games.
There will be door crashers, including devotionals for as low as $4.99, as well as refreshments, and crafts for all ages.
Celebrating one year at the location of 584 Pembina Highway, Glavovic says, "As the Canadian Bible Society Winnipeg bookstore, we provide a wide variety of Christian literature. We are not only a bookstore, but we are also a ministry centre, and we always look forward to meeting new faces from our community. We are enthusiastic about the experience of uniting and celebrating God and His blessings; embracing the experience of worship and connection."
CHVN 95.1 FM will be live on location from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
