A National Disability Employment Awareness initiative will see purple lights in homes and businesses this evening, as a show of support and awareness for disability employment.

"So put a purple light up, or an LED light, in your house or your business," encouraged Executive Director Jeff Richards with the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop. "It's just another way to start the conversations and get people talking about what can we do to help folks with disabilities get into the workplace."

October is 'Disability Employment Awareness Month' (DEAM) in Saskatchewan.
