Snowfall is forecast to begin Monday morning in the Calgary area and along the Highway 2 (QEII) corridor, gradually moving east throughout the day.

A brief period of rain is possible in the morning before the snow starts, which could create slippery road conditions as the precipitation transitions to snow.

A few centimetres of snow may accumulate before it tapers off Monday night. Drivers are advised to prepare for quickly changing and potentially hazardous travel conditions.
