In-person voting in the 2024 provincial election officially starts tomorrow, as advance polls open across the province for what has been dubbed Voting Week by Elections Saskatchewan.
Here in the riding of Weyburn-Bengough, there will be five advance poll locations. In Weyburn itself, advance voting can be done at the Credit Union Spark Centre. The other four locations are the New Horizon Community Centre in Sedley, the Milestone Drop-In Centre, the Bengough Community Centre, and the Avonlea Community Hall.
The polls will be open Tuesday thru Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. All polls will be closed on Sunday, and then the polling stations across the province will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
Throughout Saskatchewan there will be 303 early voting locations, with another 413 locations opening up on Monday. In addition to the regular voting locations, there will also be voting conducted at 369 personal care facilities in the province, with voting also done at 68 hospitals or remand centres next Monday.
In addition to the in-person voting, there were another 32.405 mail-in ballots approved by the October 19th deadline.
