October 19, 2024, marked one year since the Canadian Bible Society moved into the new location at 584 Pembina Highway with a day filled with live worship, door crashers, and a lot of smiles.
Celebrating one year at the location, Natalie Glavovic, director of sales at the Canadian Bible Society says, "As the Canadian Bible Society Winnipeg bookstore, we provide a wide variety of Christian literature. We are not only a bookstore but also a ministry centre, and we always look forward to meeting new faces from our community. We are enthusiastic about the experience of uniting and celebrating God and His blessings; embracing the experience of worship and connection."
The day of the festivities kicked off at 11 a.m. with worship from Jerry Jacob.
Shortly after, Chinenye took the stage leading the shoppers in worship.
There was something for the entire family. There was free face painting, refreshments, door crashers for $4.99, crafts, and a scavenger hunt.
