Shrek is one of the most beloved movie characters. Although the movies came out in the early 2000's, they're still popular amongst kids and kids a heart!Â
Next month, Shrek the Musical will be gracing the stage at the Highwood Memorial Centre. I had a chance to speak with Director (of Shrek The Musical), Miranda Scott, more about the production.
Set in a mythical time, The Windmill Theatre Players are bringing the story of the hulking green ogre who, after being mocked and feared his entire life by anything that crosses his path, retreats to an ugly green swamp to exist in happy isolation.Â
So the story is different from the movies, but it's expected to be hilarious, heartfelt and a whole lot of fun for the whole family. Â
