Town of Diamond Valley warns of malware emails from Town accounts

The Town of Diamond Valley is cautioning residents of potential malware coming from Town mail addresses.

A Facebook post from Monday (Oct. 21) afternoon states that some Town of Diamond Valley mail addresses have been affected by a malware "spam attack," and that some residents might receive suspicious emails.

As a result, locals are urged not to open attachments or click links from Town email addresses for the time being.

Anyone who has recently received suspicious emails from the Town of Diamond Valley is encouraged to change their passwords to protect their accounts.
