Fog and ice make for slow Tuesday commute

Slick roads and a foggy start to the day has made the commute near Cochrane a difficult one for some.

Cochrane drivers report area highways and roads in town as wet with some icy sections. 

Highways 1, 1A and 22 in all directions from Cochrane are listed as partially covered in snow this morning. 

Near Cochrane, there's a stalled over-dimensional load on Highway 772, west of Airdrie, one kilometre south of Big Hill Springs Road. It caused a full road closure near Township Road 264. 

There is no snow in the forecast and temperatures are expected to warm up this afternoon to 7C.
