Semi hauling cattle crashes in South Calgary, killing 17 cows

A semi hauling cattle rolled last night in South Calgary, killing 17 cows aboard.

The collision occurred on the ramp from eastbound Stoney Trail to southbound Macleod Trail Southeast.

According to the Calgary Police Service, the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution but had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
