Foothills Bantam Eagles set for Division 1 playoff debut

The Foothills Bantam Eagles are set to play in their first-ever Division 1 playoff showdown this weekend.

The Eagles are set to play the Calgary Colts at Shouldice Artificial Turf Hellard on Saturday (Oct. 26) at 4:00 p.m. for the first-round game.

The Foothills-based team put up a 6-2 record this season and outscored their opponents 322-127 in the process. The Colts are coming off of an undefeated season and they outscored their opponents 286-46 this season.

The Calgary Bantam Stampeders and Raiders are the teams scheduled for the Division 1 playoffs and will face the winner of the Colts and Eagles.
