RoseMary Margaret (nee Graf) Therres was born on August 19, 1954, in Humboldt, SK. She was one of the first set of twins born to John and Eva (nee Marienfeld) Graf, who had seven daughters, including two sets of twins. RoseMary grew up on the farm in the Kildrum district. She started school in a one-room schoolhouse in the area, and then continued her education in Meacham and then Viscount, where she graduated in 1972. RoseMary entered the workforce in Humboldt where she was employed part-time at Graphic Arts and at The Danish Oven. She also worked at the SAAN store for 14 years, managed the Red Apple for seven years, then worked at Diamonds of Detroit, Pharmasave, and was offered a position at Home Hardware. It was during that time that she was diagnosed with hereditary Spinocerebellar Ataxia (SCA) and had to take early retirement. In August 2023, RoseMary was also diagnosed with Acute Myeloyd Leukemia (A.M.L.). In all her places of employment, she had a strong work ethic and loved the service industry. Her dedication was acknowledged in 1997 while at Home Hardware when she was received the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce Courtesy Service Award. RoseMary was married in 1974 and had four children, three sons and one daughter, Darnell, Anita, Dwayne, and Dwight. RoseMary was a very good cook and especially enjoyed baking and sharing her goodies with others. As well, she loved gardening, pickling and canning to provide for her family. RoseMary was also a very creative person who loved sewing and making various items which were often gifted to others. Of great importance to RoseMary was her strong faith in Jesus; she believed in attending church regularly.
