Randall Orin Huss age 68 years of Viscount, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, with family by his side. Randy was born January 23, 1956, in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan and grew up in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by his mother Beulah Huss in 2017, brother in-law Leonard Wiebe in 2012. Randy is survived by his son Logan Huss. He is also survived by his brother Wendell Huss (Di) and sisters Twila (Ward) Schultz, Lexie Wiebe, Cindy (Ed) Slusar, Shelley (Larry) Johnston as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
As a young adult Randy worked in the oil industry, but his true calling was working with cattle. He was happiest when he was hauling cattle or working the feedlot. For the last several years he worked at Primrose Livestock.
Randy was the biggest jokester of the family. Even in his final days he kept all of us laughing. He was a very reserved, private person. Randy was a huge sports fan. Randy played hard but also worked hard.
Like many of us, Randy’s life was full of ups and downs, and while he did things his own way, there are things he wished he could have changed. We all carry regrets to the grave and Randy had a few.
In Randy’s final weeks he fought hard and endured so much pain but didn’t show it. Another branch missing from our family tree. Randy you will be missed! Rest easy.

The celebration of life will be held at the Swift Current Legion Lower Lounge 239 1st Ave NE on Saturday November 2nd, 2024 from 1:00 - 4 p.m. Please join us and share memories and stories.
