As October comes to a close, we’ve gathered all of the wonderful entries for this month’s Perfect Pet Contest! From cozy autumn days at the lake to festive Halloween costumes, our furry friends have been making the most of the season, and we’re thrilled to share their stories.

Ruby
A Berne doodle with the kindest heart. She loves everyone especially kids. Quirky, fun, and just all around great dog!!
Mars
Mars is a (almost) 2 year old golden doodle! Her mom was surrendered to the Estevan Humane Society and she was born in their care. She won the hearts of her foster family and never left! Mars is loved by everyone she meets! Kids love her and she loves them! She loves to show off all her tricks the kids taught her! Sit, shake a paw, spin, jump, and lay down. She truly is the best dog and we tell her every day!
Chaos
She is just new to us we have only had her 3 months but she really has adjusted well to our home. She is 2, started as a rescue and was adopted by my cousin as a pup. My cousin passed suddenly and well I said we would take her dog for a trial, Chaos picked us like it was meant to be. She loves bones, eggs, meat and certain toys. She is quite goofy and very strong! We are working on a few things but she is mostly a really good girl.

Rex and Tim
Tim is a cocker spaniel/ dachshund mix and is full of energy! he’s the trouble maker out of the two. Ever since he was a puppy, he would always sit on my shoulder during car rides, now he is too big for that however he always sleeps above my head or on the pillows beside me. He looks up to his big brother rex and tries to copy everything he does Rex is a staffie/pitbull. he is a gentle giant. Always wanting to cuddle and while he is big and heavy, he thinks he is still a lap dog. He loves going on adventures from swimming to hiking or chasing gophers; and isn’t afraid to “talk back” to his humans! *I had to post them together, because they are always together!
Ralphie
We just adopted him in October and he is so loveable and playful.
Timmothy
Timothy is a sasy big backed kitten who loves his big back temptation treats.
Gypsy
Gypsy is very clever and affectionate . A multi mixed breed granted her a quisical personality and loving attitude.
Harper and Rosco
Harper, our almost 4yr old lab, and Rosco, our 9yr old Morkie, are inseparable! They love living at the lake all summer- swimming, walking, and soaking up the sun on the deck! Rosco loves his orange ball but sometimes Harper manages to protect it for him!
Gizmo, Blue & Nugget
These 3 boys are all rescues and their favourite things to do are run back and forth after each other and bird watch. Gizmo is my 4 year old orange guy. Blue just turned one and he is my biggest suck, always has to sleep with me. Nugget is the black and white one and he’s 5 months old. All very sweet ????
Misa
Misa is a 1 year old tuxedo, we originally were fostering her from the Humane Society but decided to keep her! She loves to follow you around the house, play fetch, look out the window and will never say no to a treat.
Roxy
Roxy is our 8 yr old English Springer who likes to hunt, fishing, camping and swimming but hates dressing up for a photo but hey when a treat is involved she’ll do anything!
Roscoe
Roscoe is a happy playful, loving little pug. He loves his people and he loves his big dog brother Blue.He loves being the centre of attention and plays it for all he can.???? he brings such joy to our days and we are so glad he is in our life♥️
Zeus
Zeus is a unique dog. Good mix of chill and wild, he likes to play and goof off in the yard and then hide in a corner in the house and sleep. As soon as the truck starts he waits by the door, always wanting to go in the truck. Whether it’s a quick store trip, or a night shift at the rig. If he wants your attention he’s very vocal
