There will be some work being completed in Okotoks that will cause disruptions on the North Ridge Drive bridge.
Starting today (Oct. 30), Volker Stevin will be completing some light base work on the northbound lane of North Ridge Drive, right over the river.
Due to the work, the sidewalk on the north side of the bridge, as well as one of the lanes, will be closed.
Their work is expected to be completed on November 18th.
Then, on November 29, a Fortis construction crew will be onsite to complete the streetlight installations.
While the work is being completed, the Town is reminding everyone to use caution while travelling around the area and to keep an eye out for signage, crews, and equipment, and they thank everyone for their patience and cooperation.
