An earlier increased police presence in the city's southeast has ended.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Airdrie Mounties advised residents of an increased police presence in the Kingsland View area in the city's southeast. Authorities also confirmed that there was immediate risk to the public.
In the interest of public and police safety, residents were encouraged to avoid the area and refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media.
