The wait is officially over for Halloween, and just one question remains. What will the weather be like today for the trick-or-treaters?

Stephen Berg, a Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada explained we will see a small temperature drop in Airdrie.

"Looks a slight bit cooler than the average for the time of year. Looks like it'll be into the plus-two range or so for the high and -10 range for the low."

Berg explained the normal for this time of year is in the five-degree range. He went on to talk about if we could possibly see snow during the day.

"It does not look like it. There might be some cloudy periods tomorrow, but it doesn't look to be much in terms of snow or any sort of precipitation tomorrow."

If you are trick-or-treating, remember to stop by senior living homes, as they might also be handing out candy.

Earlier this week the Airdrie RCMP provided some tips on how to stay safe and have a fun night, click HERE to see them.

Berg went on to talk about what we will see for the weekend.

"It clouds over Saturday, temperatures again, will be anywhere from a couple to a few degrees below normal."

He also mentioned we could see some flurries Saturday night into Sunday. But the temperatures will warm up a bit more on Sunday and into Monday.

"Temperatures look like they recover slightly for the early part of next week."

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Saturday has a forecasted high of zero, Sunday is three degrees, Monday is six degrees and Tuesday is four degrees.
