Team Canada's Rachel Homan secured her playoff spot Wednesday at the Pan Continental Curling Championships in Lacombe with wins over Mexico (10-1) and South Korea (8-2).
On the men's side, Brad Gushue's rink defeated Australia 13-8.
Gushue and Homan are both 6-0 heading into play Thursday and will be competing in the playoffs.
To wrap up the round-robin, Gushue takes on China this morning at 9 a.m. with Homan facing Japan this afternoon at 2 p.m.
The men's semi-finals take place tonight at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex at 7 p.m. The women's semi-finals will be held Friday morning at 9 a.m.
Men's teams which have qualified include Canada, USA, China, and Japan. For the women there is still one playoff spot open heading into play Thursday. Canada, Japan, and South Korea have qualified.
