Do you go all-out for Halloween? If you don't, you probably know someone who does!
It's all in good fun and it's a great boost for retailers.
A new poll found more than a quarter of Canadians will spend $100 or more on Halloween.
Polling firm Leger surveyed 1,520 adults this month on their Halloween habits.
They found we Canadians will spend an average of $67.65 on Halloween-related expenses – an amount that rises to $121.57 among parents.
We're buying costumes and candy, decorations and attending events.
It's interesting to note, 27% of respondents say they will not spend a single dollar on Halloween.
The poll also suggested we're split on handing out Halloween candy this year. 47% said they’ll be ready with treats for the kids and 47% said they won't.
I don't know about you but I've got about $20 worth of mini chocolate bars at the house I'll be pleased to treat the kids who come to my door. I just hope there's not too many kids because I'm hoping for some leftover treats!
