Sunset Ridge residents are in for a treat as a Haunted Circus takes over a home this Halloween.
This spooky spectacle has been a community favourite for the last five years, seeing over 150 kiddos brave the clowns and animatronics for some candy.
“We have our entire driveway covered in circus tents,” explains circus masterminds Matt Inglot and Kaylee Eichel. “We put on a circus where people can come and wander through the tent and play different games with lots of different candy or sometimes other things and meet various undead residents of the circus.”
“It’s not just trick or treating. They have to interact, they have to engage with us in order to get their candy or other goodies.”
One attraction, the Wheel of MISfortune has become a major hit over the years. The wheel offers up two prizes, cavities(candy) or carrots.
“They love it, they love the carrot,” laughs the duo. “We have to wash them because the kids will eat it right away. There has even been some cheating in the past to get carrots.”
The pair have grown the attraction every year adding more animatronics and home-made elements.
