The Bow Valley Bobcats have made a splash in ASAA provincial football playoffs with a 34-17 win over the eighth-ranked Olds Spartans.

Making their first appearance in provincials since 2018, the Bobcats weren't ranked in Football Alberta's top 10 heading into the game and now face Willow Creek this Saturday Nov. 9 at the University of Lethbridge. Willow Creek is ranked third among 3A schools and is known for their strong running game.

The Cochrane Cobras coasted to a 49-14 win over the Canmore Wolverines on home field on Nov. 2.  This Saturday at 1 p.m., they host the W. P. Myers Rebels, of Taber. The Rebels slide in the rankings to eighth from second after losing 28-16 loss to Willow Creek.

The Cobras have been climbing in the rankings as the season progresses and are now number two behind their long-time rivals, the Holy Rosary Raiders, of Lloydminster.
