With Remembrance Day approaching, the High River Flyers are hosting Friday night's (Nov. 8) game at Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex as a Veterans Appreciation Night.
All members of the Canadian military and other veterans will be given free admission to the game.
The Veterans Appreciation Night will be about showing support to those who have lost their lives or are currently fighting for freedom.
The Cannex Cochrane Generals will be taking on the Flyers for the special game with the puck drop set for 8:00 p.m. The Flyers will also be hosting the Generals on Thursday for their back-to-back home games this weekend.
