Former Okotoks Oiler Dylan Holloway is back with the St. Louis Blues after collapsing on the bench in last night's (Nov. 5) game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Holloway took a shot in the neck during the 3-2 win over the Lightning. He would finish his shift after getting hit in the jugular but after returning to the bench it was clear something wasn't right as he lost consciousness and had to be taken out of the game on a stretcher.

"I feel good today, I feel way better. Obviously, it was a scary situation, from what I have been told the puck hit my vagus nerve in my neck and as soon as I got hit I knew something was off," Holloway said in a media scrum this morning," Holloway told reporters today.
"It got really blurry. I don't really remember coming to the bench. Next thing I know I was next to the ambulance on a stretcher."

Holloway is in his first season with the Blues after helping bring the Edmonton Oilers to game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals last season. He has been a welcome addition to the Blues as he has four goals and two assists in 13 games so far.
With the scary incident just last night, the team will take proper protocols before having Holloway join his team back on the ice.
