Former Cochrane Rodeo Queen Breanna Correia has been selected as one of the three finalists seeking to be crowned the 2025 Calgary Stampede Princess.

The list was shortened to three from five contestants shortly following the Nov. 2 semifinal equestrian competition.

The crowning of both the new Stampede and First Nation Princess takes place on Nov. 13 and will be livestreamed.

Breanna became well known for her public appearances as the official ambassador of the Lions Labour Day Weekend Rodeo and as an unofficial ambassador of Cochrane. No celebration seemed complete without the positive energy she created wherever she went.

She graciously agreed to serve in the role for an extended period of time while we worked our way through the pandemic and continues to be a mentor for the queens that have followed in her steps.
