Busy is the easiest way to describe the weekend for senior hockey teams in southeast Saskatchewan, with 15 games on the schedule across the three leagues.

Friday Night Lights

The QVHHL kicks off the weekend with three exciting matchups. The Milestone Flyers travel to Lumsden to take on the Monarchs at 8 p.m., while the Bethune Bulldogs face off against the Raymore Rockets at the same time. In Balgonie, the Bisons host the Southey Marlins with puck drop at 8:15 p.m.

In Big Six action, the Oxbow Huskies hit the road to challenge the Carlyle Cougars with the game starting at 8 p.m., and the Midale Mustangs visit the Moosomin Rangers at 8:30 p.m.

All three of the games in the Notekeu Hockey League start at 8 p.m. The action sees the Coronach Merchants head to Lefleche to battle the Flyers. The Hodgeville Huskies are in Assiniboia to take on the Rebels, and the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings travel to Rouleau to face the Ramblers.

Saturday Night Showdown

The QVHHL continues the weekend with the Balgonie Bisons visiting the Balcarres Broncs at 7:30 p.m., and the Southey Marlins taking on the Bethune Bulldogs at 8 p.m.

The Big Six features a lone game with the Moosomin Rangers heading to Carnduff to clash with the Red Devils at 8 p.m.

The Notekeu Hockey League offers a full slate of games, all starting at 7:30 p.m. The Avonlea Arrows visit the Assiniboia Rebels, the Hodgeville Huskies take on the Lefleche Flyers, the Rouleau Ramblers travel to Gravelbourg to face the Hornets, and the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings are in Radville to challenge the Nationals.
