Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, a day recognized each year in honour of all of the veterans who've served.
This Monday, November 11, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 plans to hold two Remembrance Day ceremonies, one at the Cenotaph and the other at the Comp.
John Griffin, public relations officer for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56, noted that the format will be similar to previous years and the ceremony at the school will also be livestreamed for those who can't attend in person.
"It's very important that we remember those who served and sacrificed for what values we Canadians hold so close," he shared.
There will be a walk from the Legion to the Cenotaph around 8:45 for the hour-long ceremony beginning at 9:00 a.m., while the Comp parade-in will be at 10:30 a.m. and the ceremony begins at 10:50 a.m.
"After the ceremonies, the Legion would like to invite anyone in attendance and the public to come down to the Legion Hall for a social gathering and Legion tours," added Griffin.
