You remember the award-winning, Canadian pop-punk band STEREOS? Of course you do! With bops like, "Summer Girl," "Throw Ya Hands Up" and "Body Move," it's hard to not STILL love them! Well, they are still together and are still playing shows here and there, but they're no longer a full-time band.Â
With that, their lead singer, Patrick Kordyback, now has a solo country project called, Delta Sweet. He's so good!
Delta Sweet's debut song, "Pour A Little My Way" ft. Ashton Adams (April 2024), was a summer anthem! He still has an unwavering ability to craft catchy songs and he continues to captivate audiences with his infectious talent. He has done so again with his latest release, this past Friday (Nov. 8) called, "Outta Money, Outta Mind."Â
The music video has also been released and can be watched HERE.
According to his website, this is what Delta Sweet is all about:Â
"Delta Sweet is a multi-platinum, Juno Award-winning songwriter & country music artist with a penchant for sugary hooks and straightforward storytelling. A willingness to paint outside the lines and explore new themes, sounds, and collaborations sets Delta Sweet apart as a name to know in country music today."
Based in Edmonton, Delta Sweet is looking to make waves in the Canadian country scene and he is doing a great job so far!
I had a chance to talk with Patrick about his journey towards country music, his experience during Canadian Country Music Week, his plans for the rest of 2024 and into 2025 as Delta Sweet, "Outta Money, Outta Mind" and so much more!
