Snowfall warning in effect for Cochrane

Between 5 to 10 cm of snow could fall in the Cochrane region today. 

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning as a result.  

The snowfall is expected to taper off by later this morning.

Drivers are reminded to exercise caution on area roads as visibility may become suddenly reduced to near zero. 

The warning is also in effect for Airdrie, Olds, and Sundre.
