The Portage Terriers face off with a division rival tonight after a split weekend against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard on the weekend.

Portage scored six goals and allowed six goals as well against the Blizzard, good enough to keep them in second place in the MGEU East Division.

Niverville currently sits in the fifth slot in the MGEU East Division, several points back of the division-leading Steinbach Pistons.

The Nighthawks have made the playoffs in their first two seasons, but currently sit on the outside looking in, with the Selkirk Steelers holding a two-point edge.

Portage has won 12 of their last 13 games, and will hope to start another long win streak after having their 11-game streak ended by the Blizzard.

Puck drop at the Niverville Recreation Centre is at 7:30 p.m. with live coverage on CFRY.
