Central Collegiate to host Cultural Fair

Students at Central Collegiate will be getting a crash course on the different cultures that make up their community.

On Thursday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Central Collegiate gym, a Cultural Fair will be held with the help of the Moose Jaw Multicultural Council. The day will celebrate diversity within the school as students are spending time researching where their family originates from and preparing a display board for all the students to see.

Avery LeBlanc from Country 100.7 F.M. spoke with Nik Cochrane, a High School Settlement Worker with the Moose Jaw Multicultural Council, about the different cultures being highlighted and the importance of this event.
