Traffic in both directions of the Trans-Canada Highway is flowing once again after a collision shut it down for a couple of hours west of Portage la Prairie Tuesday afternoon.

Manitoba Infrastructure says the highway has reopened in both directions at Road 58 on the west end of MacGregor, Man.

Reports indicate that an SUV was attempting to cross the highway at the intersection when it was struck by a semi.

The semi rolled onto the eastbound lanes and rolled over. It was carrying a load of pipes which it lost.

There is no word of any injuries at this time.
