Estevan snow removal plan targets major roads, emergency routes first

As winter weather settles in across the southeast, Estevan city crews have been working around the clock to clear streets and ensure safe travel for residents.

As temperatures drop, the City of Estevan is reminding the public of icy conditions and urging drivers to slow down and maintain extra following distance.

Priority will be given to major roads and emergency routes, including Souris, King Street, and Kensington, before crews focus on secondary and residential streets. Residents can view snow removal priority maps at estevan.ca/winterroadmaintenance.

For road or drainage issues, residents are asked to call 306-634-1800. The city also encourages downloading the free Voyent Alert! app for notifications about closures and delays.
