A stormy Wednesday kept most people indoors, leading to a relatively quiet day for the Estevan Police Service, with only a few calls keeping officers busy.
A motor vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Perkins Street and 4th Avenue. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were able to drive from the scene. Drivers exchanged information and were advised to report the collision to SGI. No further police involvement was necessary.
Police responded to a report of a possible break and enter at a property in the central part of the city. It was determined that two individuals were searching for lost property. They were cautioned not to return to the location and were sent on their way.
An Estevan woman turned herself in on outstanding warrants from the Moose Jaw Police Service. She was arrested and released with a new court date.
Police also responded to a commercial alarm on the east side of the city. The building was found to be secured.
