Light up the Night to shine in Shaunavon

Thanks to the Trans Canada Trail Funding Program, the Walkway Lighting Project is complete, brightening up the Shaunavon trail.

Everyone is invited to the celebratory unveiling, Light up the Night, set to take place in just a couple of days.

Light up the Night will include bonfires, hot chocolate, music, a brief period of speeches, and a chance to walk along the newly lit path with friends and family.

The event on Monday, November 25, will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Shaunavon Ball Diamonds structure.

The Trans Canada Trail granted up to $36,350 through the Capital Improvement Plan to transform Shaunavon's section of the infamous national trail.
