The Red Deer Recreation Centre will close for annual maintenance from Monday, December 2 to Sunday, December 22 inclusive, re-opening Monday December 23.
The annual shutdown allows staff an opportunity to conduct a thorough inspection and maintenance on all equipment and technical systems.
The Recreation Centre Customer Service Representatives will be available for registrations, gift card purchases and inquiries Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., December 2 - 22. The Recreation Centre will reopen on Monday, December 23. Visit the complete holiday hours schedule.
Throughout the Recreation Centre closure, the Michener Aquatic Centre will host additional lane swimming times. Recreation Value Pass holders are reminded that their pass includes access to the Michener Aquatic Centre and opportunities can be seen on the drop-in swimming schedule. Upgrade to a Recreation Plus Pass or All Access Pass to use other facilities.
If this offer is not of value, please visit a recreation facility today to complete the necessary paperwork to place a temporary hold on your pass. This interaction must take place in person.
