Miller scores but Canada West drops opening game of World Junior 'A' Challenge

It was a rough start for Team Canada West at the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge in Camrose, Alberta.  

On Monday night, Sweden hammered Team Canada West 10-2.  

Humboldt Broncos forward Connor Miller scored the first goal for Team Canada West.  

On Tuesday night, Canada West will meet Canada East in an All-Canadian matchup. 

After an off day on Wednesday, Canada West will wrap up the round robin portion of the event on Thursday against the United States.  

The semifinals are on Saturday, with the finals on Sunday.
