Maxine “Auntie Mac “Mac” began her Journey at Silver Beach near Lac Vert, SK. The family moved to Leroy when she was in her early teens where she met Norman. They married and moved to the farm in 1959 where she resided until moving to St. Mary’s Villa in Humboldt.

They raised four kids on the farm providing a wonderful home and opportunities for all of us. Mom had a creative flair and enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and pottery. She also had a passion for music, taught ballroom dancing, and was always happy entertaining family, friends, and neighbors. All with grace, humor, and a warm, loving demeanor.

One of our fondest memories is seeing Mom driving out to the fields during the long harvest days with huge meals complete with deserts, always the highlight of the day. The extended family always looked forward to enjoying her beautiful meals famous “Buns”.

Thank you to all the friends and family who have reached out with condolences and shared memories.

The family would like to thank the unbelievable staff at St. Mary’s Villa for the wonderful care mom received throughout her years at the facility.

We would also like to thank the staff at Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home for their services and compassion with mom’s arrangements.

Memorial donations in Maxine's memory may be directed to St. Mary's Villa Foundation.  Family will do services at a later date.
