A wild affair at the Hockey For All Centre ended with Portage the victors by a score of 5-4.

The teams traded goals in the first ten minutes, with Evan Gradt and Decker Mujcin scoring for the Blues and Terriers respectively.

From there, the Blues would score three consecutive goals, to take a 4-1 lead early in the second period.

Nolan Nenow would start the comeback with a shot on the powerplay that beat Blues netminder Samuel Couture, making it 4-2 in Winnipeg's favour.

A pair of goals early in the third period would tie the game at 4, with Adler Johnston tapping home a rebound, and Koy Funk scoring on a bounce off a shot from Wyatt Dreger.

Nolan Nenow would score his second of the game late in the third, completing the comeback on a shot from the slot, to make it 5-4 for Portage.

A late coincidental minor call gave Winnipeg the man advantage with 40 seconds to play, but time ticked away from the Blues, as the Dogs locked down he defensive end.

Portage went 2/6 on the powerplay, and 3/4 on the penalty kill to land back in the win column.

The Terriers will play one final game before the Christmas break, a home game against the Winnipeg Freeze on Saturday, December 21, with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
