Visibility is starting to deteriorate on highways around Moose Jaw as high wind speeds are blowing snow across the road.
According to Highway Hotline as of 10 a.m., Highway 1 is partly covered with reduced visibility from the Highway 301 junction to Regina. West of Moose Jaw, Highway 1 visibility is reduced from Mortlach to Swift Current and Highway 1 from Swift Current to Maple Creek is closed due to road conditions.
Highway 2 north of the city is partly covered with loose snow, drifting snow and snow drifts. Highway Hotline says visibility is reduced from Tuxford to Chamberlain.
Highway 2 south is also partly covered, with Highway 36 from the junction of Highway 2 to the function of Highway 13 is covered with swirling snow, loose snow, drifting snow and heavy snow.
