Skating enthusiasts can now enjoy more rinks at The Forks as all of the on-land skating trails and rinks that make up Winter Park at The Forks are now open.

The rinks under the canopy by The Forks Market and CN Stage have been flooded, groomed, and prepared for visitors, along with over 1km of skating trail.

While there are different locations that have opened, the Nestaweya River Trail is yet to open. Trained crews have started testing and flooding the Port Rink but The Forks reminds everyone to stay off the rivers until they have been opened to the public.

Skaters can put on their skates inside The Forks atrium. Visitors are welcome to bring their own equipment or rent at the rink. Hockey and figure skates are both available in all sizes.

Visitors can stay up-to-date on ice conditions through www.theforks.com/skate.
