Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive lineman Logan Ferland has earned himself a look at the next level.

With the CFL/NFL workout window open, Ferland was one of eleven CFL players to earn a look from the Denver Broncos at their practice facility this past weekend. Two of his Roughriders teammates also made the trip in receiver Ajou Ajou, and linebacker A.J. Allen.

Ferland's opportunity came after a career year that included a CFL All-Star nod, the West Division nomination for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman, and a home playoff win for the green and white that led to an appearance in the West Final.

Those accolades certainly played a part in the invitation down south.

"(When you finish) the season you are really hoping for any looks possible. It's really hard to get those looks when you haven't got any awards, not just team awards, but CFL awards." explained Ferland "This year being recognized... that really helped push my value to potential NFL teams. That being said, it really gave me an opportunity to get a tryout, and obviously somebody was looking. I had the opportunity, and now just excited for any others to come."

Ferland and his counterparts arrived at the facility on Saturday, where stretching and warmups led into a short period of skills and drills for evaluation. Feeling good about his performance, all Ferland can do now is wait.

"I felt good. Felt great with everything that was presented to me there, and it's all in their hands right now. I feel like I left everything on the table, trained as hard as I could beforehand, and the rest is up to fate." said Ferland, finally taking some time for himself this offseason.

"I feel very happy with how I did. I have no regrets from it. Feeling positive."

CFL players can sign with an NFL team between January 6, 2025, and February 11, 2025, as per the NFL workout window.
