Mounties in Eastman are hoping the public can help them get their man after an armed robbery in Beausejour earlier this week.

The RCMP says that on December 29, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Beausejour RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at a business on Park Avenue in the community.

When officers arrived on the scene, the lone suspect had already fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Through an initial investigation, officers learned a male suspect entered the store with a bandana covering his face and demanded money from the employee while brandishing what was described as a black handgun.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect may be mid-30s, tall, and approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a red hoodie pulled up over his head, a white bandana covering his face, a blue plaid jacket, red sweatpants with a large black spider over the knee, and gray/brown skate shoes.

He was last seen headed northbound on Fifth Street on foot.

It is unknown at this time if the suspect was working alone or if there were others involved.

If anyone has information on this incident or can identify the suspect please call Beausejour RCMP at 204-268-2612 or call Crime Stoppers or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.

The RCMP continues to investigate.
