On Christmas Eve, Wetaskiwin RCMP received a report that a vehicle with on board GPS tracking was stolen and was at a location in Wetaskiwin County.
Upon arrival, three individuals were arrested.
Following a search, police discovered both the original stolen Jeep as well as a stolen Dodge truck.
RCMP also located an imitation firearm and prepackaged Fentanyl ready for distribution.
48-year-old Wetaskiwin resident Darryl Walter Admussen has been charged with:
- Trafficking a controlled substance;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
- Possession of property obtained by crime.
Admussen was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released from custody with his next court date set for Jan. 30, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin.
RCMP have charged 39-year-old Leduc resident Scott Alexander Clendon with, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. Clendon was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released from custody with his next court date set for Jan. 28, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin.
The third suspect was released without charges.
