150 find a safe ride home on New Year’s Day with city transit

The 35th edition of the Find A Safe Ride Program took place over New Year’s with the City of Moose Jaw, in partnership with SGI, offering free transit for people partaking in the festivities. 

This year saw 150 people take advantage of the program. This included 147 fixed route passengers and three paratransit passengers. 

 New this year, the city added several stops at popular establishments celebrating the New Year. 

Find A Safe Ride Program offered free fixed route and paratransit services from 7:55 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 3:15 a.m. on Jan. 1.
