Adorable Adoptables is back to spotlight another incredible animal from the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
Meet Sterling, a lovable and energetic black hound who has spent much of his life waiting patiently for the perfect family.
Sterling’s story is one of growth, resilience, and endless love to give.
His journey began at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society when he was just a tiny pup. Over the past year, he’s grown up in foster care, learning valuable lessons about life and love.
“Sterling is in a foster home, and his foster family is just raving about how well he’s doing and how much he’s enjoying life,” says Tiffany Beaton, Communications Coordinator at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
“He’s incredibly sweet and has such a gentle soul. He’s an active dog who would thrive in a rural home where he can run and play.
"He’s even become an excellent workout buddy and loves running alongside a bike.”
While Sterling has had a few false starts with potential adopters, Tiffany believes that his perfect match is out there. “Sterling’s foster family has done an incredible amount of work with him, and it shows.”
